Scholarship Art Competition
Hosted by Parsec Education and open to all school districts.
Requirements
- Eligibility: Must be a high school senior.
- Artwork Submission: Your artwork can be in any medium that relates to one of our prompts. One submission per student.
- Submit a video of yourself: Must submit a Parsec REAL explaining the story behind the piece & how it connects to the prompt.
- Attendance: Must be present to accept the award on February 5 or 6, 2025 in-person.
Winner will receive
- Showcase Opportunity: Artwork will be showcased at the Measure What We Value Summit.
- Recognition: Details of the artist and an image of the artwork will be included in the summit pamphlet.
- Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship check and award will be presented at the summit.
- Compilation Video: A compilation video of Real submissions and the winner will be created.
Prompts
- What Matters Most to Me – Express what you truly value in life. It could be a person, a place, a memory, or an idea that defines who you are.
- My Voice, My Story – Show us how you express yourself and make your voice heard. What’s your story? How do you communicate what’s important to you?
- Feeling Understood – Capture a moment when you felt truly seen or heard by others. How do you express your feelings when someone really understands you?
- The Power of Being Heard – Illustrate the impact of being listened to. How does it feel when someone really pays attention to what you have to say?
- Finding My Value – What makes you unique? Explore what gives you a sense of worth and purpose in your life.
